Real MP3
Keep just the sound: songs, voice-overs and trending audio as proper MP3 files.
Why is my GIF an MP4 file?
X stores every GIF as an MP4 video, so the download is the original file. It loops and looks sharper than a .gif.

Features
Built for Twitter / X.
Original quality
The exact file X serves. No re-compression, no blur.
Small & sharp
X stores GIFs as MP4, which is up to 10× smaller than a .gif and looks better.
Works everywhere
WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord and Slack all play MP4 GIFs on a loop.
Videos too
Regular X videos work as well. Twitter video downloader →
When someone posts a GIF on X, X converts it into a short silent MP4 video. That's why "Save image" doesn't work on GIFs. The Scrapper downloads that MP4 directly, in the original quality.
Messaging apps treat short silent MP4s as GIFs, so the file loops just like the original. If you need a classic .gif file, any GIF maker can convert the MP4 in seconds.
Only public posts work. GIFs from protected accounts can't be downloaded.
Why switch
Most downloaders cut corners. We don't.
